These microorganisms are the ‘good guys’ that provide the link between plants and organic fertilizer. Not only do the microbes, protozoa, nematodes, worms & the rest of the ‘good guys’ eat and digest the organic matter in soil - thus making food available for plant uptake; they build soil aggregate that retains water and nutrients in the soil, as well as eat the pathogens linked to diseases. Soil Science Services thanks you for visiting our web site. We are a leader in sustainable, naturopathic garden care - BioFertility, Liquid Organics, micro-nutrients, etc.
Soil Science Services started as a breakthrough company known as The Lawn Jockey. We changed the name in 2007 to reflect the work we actually do... we are not just lawns. Only the name has changed... same owners, same employees, same mission! Soil Science Services is devoted to the promotion of soil health for all plants, trees and shrubs.

Liquid Organics
We start with vats of good pure water (at ambient temperature), some of the best worm castings in the Pacific Northwest, and slowly matured humus from Alaska that is thousands of years old! These products contain thousands of species of beneficial microorganisms, bacteria and fungi, nematodes and protozoa that are necessary for soil biology. We also include foods like: sea kelp, molasses and fulvic acid (a cancer fighting agent). At this point we add oxygen for 30 hours, helping the organisms to multiply.
Liquid Organics is non-toxic to adults, teens, children, pets, wildlife, fish, the environment and/or the water we drink!
Our Liquid Organics and natural fertilizers allow you, your kids and your pets to play on the yard immediately after we have left. Now, that is SAFE!
Biofertility
We work with Dr. Michael Holmes, the leader in Biofertility. Dr. Holmes' biotechnology contains 'true' plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria that increase plant-available nutrients, combat fungal root disease and increase water uptake during stress - resulting in a qualitative improvement in plant vigor, leaf size, green appearance and root growth.
